ARAW NG KAGITINGAN
April 9 in Mt Samat, Bataan
The fall of Bataan is commemorated every year. Top government officials, Japanese and American WW II veterans including their Filipino counterparts and visitors go to Mt. Samat to participate at the annual rites held to honor the bravery of the soldiers who fought for the defense of Bataan.
ARAW NG ABUCAY
June 10 in Abucay, Bataan
This town-wide celebration is to commemorate the Town’s Founding Anniversary. The Local Government. sponsors activities like socio-civic parade, cultural shows and street dancing competition.
PAWIKAN FESTIVAL
November 22- November 27 in Morong, Bataan
Pawikan Festival in Brgy. Nagbalayong, Morong was organized to intensify the information campaign and generate public awareness on the importance of endangered baby Olive Ridley turtles (Lepidochelys Olivacea are the smallest in the world) in our eco-system.
LIGHTING OF GIANT CHRISTMAS TREE
December 1 in Abucay Town Plaza, Abucay, Bataan
Start of Christmas celebration where Christmas adornments around the plaza are lighted.
SIMBANG GABI/PASKO SA HERMOSA
December 16- December 25 in Various Barangays of Hermosa, Bataan
Lantern parade; Kick – off activity of Balik – Bataan in Hermosa; Food Kiosks serving bibingka, puto bumbong, canar, etc.
